Diane EricsonExperience the magic of Northern New Mexico! Situated at the end of a quiet road not far from the center of town, The Mabel Dodge Luhan House is a historic adobe looks out across Taos pueblo property with a view of the sacred Taos mountain.

This fall, Diane Ericson will be joined by a guest instructor, Holly Badgley, for dynamic teaching sessions and one-on-one instruction in our adobe conference center studio.

By popular request: we have added an extra day in the studio to the Taos Retreat! A chance to deepen the experience, and focus on aspects of your work in new ways.

We’ll be on “Taos time” as they say, with plenty of opportunity for small, informal groups in the log cabin room and afternoons sitting with handwork in the stone courtyards. Two meals a day are included at Mabel’s, breakfast and lunch. Dinner is on your own, with downtown Taos is an easy 10-minute walk from Mabel’s with many wonderful and diverse eating opportunities in route. Historic single rooms available; spouse/partners are welcome.

“I am fascinated by how we learn and evolve as creative beings. The creative process is full of rich opportunities to grow, understand and share our experience of being in the world.I know, and constantly witness in others, that the process of making with our hands has the ability to transform us. I feel that my ability to navigate my life experiences and move into new territory over the years has deepened my creativity in ways I could not have imagined. It is my best creative work.” – Diane
